Our Doctors

Dr. Rose Ramirez

Dr. Rose Ramirez

Rose was born and raised in Michigan.  She went to high school in Belding, Michigan and is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.  Board-certified in Family Medicine and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, she has been in medical practice since 1991, with strong interests in dermatology and women's health care.  She remains active in physician leadership because she feels it will take motivated doctors to help lead changes in our health care system.  She also works as the Medical Director for the Spectrum Health Physician Alliance, an entity committed to assisting independent physicians in West Michigan to improve quality and organize excellent medical care within Spectrum Health.

Mike Ahern, PA-C

Mike Ahern, PA-C

Mike graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Grand Valley State University in 1997 and is experienced in providing health care for individuals and families.  He  has extensive experience in caring for people with diabetes, high blood pressure, infections and injuries, as well as providing physicals to children and adults.  He especially enjoys sports medicine.

He lives in Rockford with his wife, Raquel, and his three sons, Zak, Ryan and Luke. 

He enjoys football and coaches at the high school level as well as goes to as many University of Michigan football games as he can.

Cathy Hallenbeck, PA-C

Cathy Hallenbeck, PA-C

Cathy graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Grand Valley State University in 2003 and is experienced in providing health care for individuals and families.  She  has extensive experience in caring for people with diabetes, high blood pressure, infections and injuries, as well as providing physicals to children and adults.  She has worked in emergency medicine for 9 years.

She lives in Rockford with her husband, Chris, and two young children.

She enjoys outdoor activities in all four seasons, even snow!

Steve Mogridge, PA-C

Steve graduated from Western Michigan University in 1992 with both his Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and his Physician Assistant Certificate.  He has extensive experience in family practice and pediatrics, with a special interest in orthopedics and wilderness medicine.  He also has extensive knowledge of immunizations.  He strives to educate his patients to enable them to make the best possible decisions about their personal health and well-being.

He lives in Rockford with his wife, Pam, and his daughter, Madison, who will be attending Western Michigan University this fall.  His daughter Mackenzie attends MIchigan State University.

He enjoys all outdoor activities ranging from hunting, fishing and camping to cycling, trail running and adventure racing.  He enjoys cooking, photography, and spending time with his family.
